Four state clinics have received international accreditation from KTQ, Cooperation for Transparency and Quality in Hospitals [German healthcare accreditation organization].

In particular, these are Tengiz Tsertsvadze Infectious and AIDS Center, National Center for Tuberculosis and Lung Disease, and Rukhi and Batumi Republic Hospitals.

The Minister of Health and his Deputy Tea Giorgadze met KTQ Director Ronald Neubauer to speak about international standards in the health sector and express gratitude for prolific cooperation with the Georgian side.

Mikheil Sarjveladze highlighted that access to medical services and patient safety are among the Government’s top priorities.

As he added, the most clinics involved in state programs had acquired international accreditations.
