
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia held a meeting with members of the Georgian diaspora residing in the city as part of the official visit to New York.
The meeting focused on the significance of the Georgian diaspora in preserving national and cultural identity abroad, promoting Georgia, and enhancing the country’s positive image.
According to Maka Botchorishvili, fostering relations with the diaspora remained a key priority for the Government of Georgia and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, which continues to implement various initiatives in this regard.
The Minister provided insights into Georgia’s foreign policy priorities, ongoing challenges, and the Government’s efforts to maintain peace and stability. She also addressed questions from members of the diaspora.
