The Tbilisi City Court sentenced Gela Khasaia, member of the opposition group Coalition for Change, to 12 days in pre-trial detention.
The sentence was issued on administrative charges of disobeying a lawful police order.
As it known, he was detained on March 31 near the Parliament building after allegedly refusing a police request for a cursory inspection.
