Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs, Aleksandre Darakhvelidze visited a youth camp in Anaklia and held an informational-cognitive meeting with the youth at the camp.
The purpose of the meeting was to raise awareness among young people about public safety and the rule of law.
The meeting was attended by heads of various departments of the Ministry of Internal Affairs along with the Deputy Minister. They provided up to 200 young people with information on necessary and topical issues related to law and order.
The young people received information on preventive measured of trafficking safety, discrimination, violence against women and domestic violence, bullying, cyber hygiene and the importance of timely cooperation with law enforcement agencies. Special attention was paid to the issues of road safety and civil security. The young people were also provided with information on the community-oriented policing system.
The meeting was held in Q&A format, which gave participants the opportunity to receive comprehensive answers from competent individuals on interesting and important topics.
