According to the Prime Minister of Georgia, Geka Geladze, who stepped down from the position of the Head of the State Security Service today, will assume the position of Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs.
“As you are aware, today the Head of the State Security Service, Mr. Geka Geladze, stepped down from his position. First of all, I would like to thank Geka Geladze for his service. He is an exceptionally conscientious individual. During his tenure as both the Minister of Internal Affairs and the Head of the State Security Service, he made a very significant contribution to ensuring state security and combating crime, including the fight against organized, drug-related, and corruption-related crime.
Mr. Geka Geladze will assume the position of Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs. With his knowledge and experience, he will significantly strengthen the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia”, - said Irakli Kobakhidze.
