Georgia, US discuss foreign military financing issues at Ministry of Defense

On September 14-16, 2026, financial review meetings regarding US support in the field of security were held at the Ministry of Defense, within the framework of which issues concerning the execution of assistance for Georgia through US Foreign Military Financing [FMF] and other sources were discussed, according to information released by the Ministry of Defense.

According to the agency, from the Georgian side, the Deputy Commander of the Defense Forces and representatives of the General Staff participated in the meetings.

From the US side, the meeting was attended by representatives of the United States European Command [USEUCOM] and the Defense Security Cooperation Agency [DSCA].
