Georgia strengthens partnership with Europol. The official cooperation agreement was signed at the Ministry of Internal Affairs today. Georgian PM attended the ceremony.

After signing the agreement, Georgia will have opportunity to cooperate with the investigative agencies of EU member states, and to exchange information about crime and personal data.
" As a result of signing this agreement, we become part of the European family in the law enforcement sphere as well, "- said Giorgi Kvirikashvili .

Giorgi Mgevrishvili, the Minister of Internal Affais states that this agreement is historical, because it is a step forward on the way to the European Integration.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia will send an officer to the Europol headquarters and will participate in the work of joint investigation teams.
