Leaving commission now is rediculous if not funny- Mamuka Mdinaradze

The Constitutional Commission will complete its work next week. The main issues regarding the election of the president and changes in the electoral system are still not agreed upon..

The majority still do not share the opinions of the opponents and once again clarify that the changes were developed in line with the recommendations of the Venice Commission.

"We are talking about indirect elections, such kind of elections will be implemented either by the parliament or a representative body , as for the presidential elections and move to proportional system, it is also important in terms of parliamentary elections," Zviad Dzidziguri said.

The decision of the National Movement to leave the Constitutional Commission is also considered to be unjustified by the ruling party , especially now when the Commission has completed its work.

In their opinion, this will not harm the commission and will not have impact on its legitimacy.

"It"s really rediculous to leave the Commission now when the Commission has completed the work. Therefore we think that this is an attempt to win political scores, "- Mamuka Mdinaradze said.
