Members of the ruling team say that they will discuss the initiative if they wish, but they also say that certain regulations will not be taken at the expense of freedom of speech.

"Any change that might at least risk the freedom of speech and expression, will not be shared by us. But we will look carefully at the package or the norm that can be offered in this regard, "said Mamuka Mdinaradze, member of the Georgian Dream.

The proposal of the High Council of Justice is unacceptable to the opposition. The National Movement says that the initiative is aimed at strengthening the oligarch`s regime.

European Georgia is against the introduction of regulations. According to Gigi Tsereteli, the novelty restricts freedom of expression and the majority should not consider it.
