New accusations of Parliamentary Chairman against President and political assessments

The Chairman of the Parliament Irakli Kobakhidze,has accused the President of Georgia, opposition parties and experts of developing a destructive plan. According to him, the country`s first person acts with his political interests and misleads the society.

Irakli Kobakhidze hinted to Giorgi Margvelashvili that if the head of the state would not change his attitude towards the parliament, the new rule for the president`s election will be enacted earlier. It turns out that the timing of enactment of the amendments still dependent on the actions of the current president, despite the fact that the Chairman of the Parliament named 2023 as the date of enactment of the president`s indirect election.

The accusations are incomprehensible for the presidential administration and opposition parties .

According to the minority, Irakli Kobakhidze is trying to overshadow the content of the constitutional amendments and change the accents.
