An influential American research company "Edison Research" conducted a survey commissioned by "Rustavi 2". The study covers the period from 22 September to 2 October. Field work was carried out in Tbilisi. All of the respondents are adults and have the right to vote in the capital.
Results of research are as follows:
When asked: "If the Mayor`s elections are held today, who would you vote for?" The answers are as follows:
Kakhi Kaladze - 34%
Zaliko Udumashvili - 14%
Aleko Elisashvili - 14%
Elene Khoshtaria - 5%
Irma Inashvili - 2%
Giorgi Gugava - 2%
Kakha Kukava - 1%
Giorgi Vashadze - 1%
Tengiz Shergelashvili - almost 1%;
I have not decided - 13%
Refuse to answer - 7%
No one - 6%
39% of respondents have anticipated that the second round will be held in Tbilisi mayoral elections. Among the people who expect the second round, 70% think Kakhi Kaladze will take part in the voting. 34% think Zaliko Udumashvili will move to the second round. As for the rest of other candidates, the results are as follows:
Aleko Elisashvili - 21%
Elene Khoshtaria - 9%
Irma Inashvili - 4%
Kakha Kukava - 3%
Giorgi Gugava - 2%
Tengiz Shergelashvili - 1%
Giorgi Vashadze - 1%
The total sum of data exceeds 100%. This is not a mistake, the respondents simultaneously named two candidates who, according to them, would be able to move to the second round, that is why the percentage of the sum is more than 100.
When asked, "who is the Mayoral candidate for whom you will not vote in any situation, even if your favorite candidate does not take part in the elections," the respondents answered the question as follows:

66% of respondents said that participated in the 2014 Mayoral Tbilisi elections.
74% said they voted in the 2016 parliamentary elections - that is, the voters participating in the polls were quite active in elections.
At the same time, 63% think that the country is moving in the wrong direction.
22% say that the country"s development path is correct.
15% do not know or refuse to answer.
