Strategic discussion meetings will be held in Gori today at the occupation line. The President, Secretary of the Security Council, members of the government and parliament, along with heads of diplomatic missions and local and international experts will visit the villages of the conflict region and the Defense Academy.

"We will talk about the danger that these occupied territories present not only for Georgia but also for European security in general. Together with our partners we will discuss how to make specific steps towards NATO integration, "- said the Deputy Secretary of the National Security Council of Georgia Shota Gvineria.

Meetings will be held with the Ministers of Defense and European Integration. Within the framework of the discussion, the adoption of the recommendation document is planned.

The main topics of discussion will be the fight against militarization and occupation of the Black Sea region, Georgia"s Euro-Atlantic aspiration and strategies on hybrid threats.

Meetings in Gori and Tbilisi will last for two days.
