Whether or not talks with the Ukrainian side about the extradition of Mikheil Saakashvili are taking place , the ruling team does not have information. Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee for Defense and Security says that the issue is legal and therefore he does not have details about the procedures implemented by the Prosecutor"s Office.

According to Irakli Sesiashvili, Mikheil Saakashvili is accused of several crimes and it is in the interest of the Georgian state that he faces the court.

As for Saakashvili"s detention, Sesiashvili assesses the incident as internal affairs of Ukraine.
