Chairman of the Communications Regulatory Commission responds to "Transparency International - Georgia". Kakha Bekauri, calls unqualified the study of the non-governmental organization stating that the chairman of the Georgian National Communications Commission (GNCC) has no right to detain this post.

Kakha Bekauri states that his diploma is equal to master"s degree. Bekauri says that this research is aimed at discrediting him.

"We are dealing with serious lack of qualification. My diploma is equal to master"s degree, "said Kakha Bekauri.

Today, Transparency-Georgia has responded to the statement of the head of the regulatory commission. According to the NGO, Bekauri does not have a diploma of higher education that the law requires.

"Faculty of Cybernetics and Applied Mathematics is not equal to Master of Economics, Public and Business Administration, Law, Electronic Communications and Journalism or equivalent level of academic degree," - said Mamuka Andghuladze, manager of "Transparency International"
