Mikheil Saakashvili"s first comment regarding the ultimatum of the General Prosecutor of Ukraine. In a live broadcast of local TV company Zik, the leader of the Party of New Forces said that deportation in any country is not a relevant punishment for the crime against the state and the government"s proposal to him regarding voluntary leaving the country is illogical.
According to Mikheil Saakashvili, the main goal of the Ukrainian government is to get rid of Saakashvili by any means. According to him, he will go to the Prosecutor"s Office for questioning on Monday, however, he declares mistrust.
"The General Prosecutor General of Ukraine has revealed his real aims, Yuri Lucenko, told me that if I do not leave Ukraine on my will, I will be extradited to Georgia, I understand that he has no legal education, but if a person is guilty of a state crime, this crime can not be punished by deporting to another country,, "- Saakashvili said.
In parallel, the prosecution is also appealing against the decision of the Pechora Court.
As for the Lucenko`s ultimatum, the General Prosecutor advised Saakashvili to leave the country yesterday, otherwise he promised to extradite him to Georgia.
