Summarizing of four years of the ENPARD"s activities and the launch of the third phase of the same program at "Expo Georgia". The event was opened by the Georgian Prime Minister Giorgi Kvirikashvili this morning.
According to the Prime Minister, rural reclamation and agriculture
development are one of the priorities of the Government of Georgia. According to the Prime Minister, Georgia has significant progress in agriculture.
" The EU assistance is especially noteworthy in the development of agriculture.We perceive it as a trust from our partners. We gradually fulfil all commitments and the EU is our active supporter in this process. The goal of our government is to promote business-oriented agriculture, "Giorgi Kvirikashvili said.
The event was attended by the EU Ambassador to Georgia. Janos Herman spoke about Georgia"s progress. According to him, the second phase of agriculture program has been launched since 2016 and it envisages food safety and quality standards.
