The main New Year tree on the Freedom Square in Tbilisi was lit in the "Georgian Dream" colors. The main New Year attribute is accompanied by the election slogan of Tbilisi Mayor Kakha Kaladze.

The photos of political New Year tree photos were spread in social networks today, which caused a negative reaction from the public.

A large part of the population believes that the New Year tree should not have a political context.

"So far we are not living in a city full of live," says one of the citizens.
