The Chairman of the Parliament of Georgia Irakli Kobakhidze met with the Marshal of the Polish Senate Stanisław Karczewski . The sides talked about improving bilateral relations and Georgia"s European aspirations. Once again it was underlined that Poland continues to actively support Georgia on the path to Euro-Atlantic integration.

"We are united by the common values on which our statehood is based . Yesterday we had the opportunity to visit the museum and recall the heroism of the Polish people and the common heroism that connects the Poles and Georgians, "said Irakli Kobakhidze.

According to Stanislav Karevsky, Georgia is a strategic partner of Poland.

"Today we will sign a strategic partnership agreement between the parliaments and our relations in economic, political, and scientific direction are developing perfectly.During the meeting, we focused on the areas in which we have huge potential of cooperation.The signing of the parliamentary agreement will further improve our relations and cooperation, "- Stanisław Karczewski said.
