The Public Defender studies the case of Zviad Ratiani. According to Nino Lomjaria, the Ombudsman"s representative has visited Sergo Ratiani in the preliminary detention isolator and has already requested all the documents on the case.

Nino Lomjaria says it would be good to have the prosecutor"s office involved in the initial stage.

"Of course, the transparency and objectivity of this process will be crucial. Such a set of facts once again shows that Georgia needs reform of the independent investigative agency, "said Nino Lomjaria.
