The Public Defender has met with the members of the Human Rights Committee of the Parliament. The main issue discussed at the meeting was cooperation and future plans. According to Nino Lomjaria, the ombudsmen"s report should be presented to the parliament in March and this will be one of the main issues discussed.

"We wonder what are the parliament"s expectations. Furthermore, in February, we should consider the report of the recommendations presented in the previous report, "said Nino Lomjaria.

The ruling team says it"s time to set up a collaboration between the Human Rights Committee and the Public Defender.

Giorgi Tugushi, a member of "European Georgia" states that it is very important to know what kind of relationship will the committee have with the Public Defender.
