By the resolution of the "GNERC", the water tariff for the population of Tbilisi will be increased. Those using the metering system will pay up to 0.06 GEL more and those having no metering system will pay approximately 0.75 GEL more per 1 m3 water.
In Rustavi, water tariffs for meter subscribers remain unchanged, without metering, there is increase of 8 tetri per capita and commercial tariff is increased by 43 tetri.
As for Mtskheta, the tariff for population with meters increased by 12 tetri, and for the population with no meters, water tariff was increased by 1 lari and 48 tetri per capita, commercial tariff increased to 35 tetri in Mtskheta.
Zurab Alpaidze, deputy director of operations management at GWP, said that 2017 was special for the company and they have invested more than 82 million GEL. ,He said, that they intend to invest more than 200 million GEL to improve water supply service.
