The Constitutional Court will announce today the decision on the claim of the TV Company "Sakartvelo". The owner of the control package of "Rustavi 2" demands to recognize the article of the Civil Code as unconstitutional which creates the possibility of invalidation of the contract due to disproportionate price.

The consideration of the case on the so called immorality transaction has been going on for more than two years. The decision was needed for the company before the Supreme Court made a decision.

According to the lawyer, the consideration of a constitutional claim was completed when legislative amendments allowed one member of the court to transfer the case to the plenum and the process was deliberately prolonged. At this stage, the decision will not affect Rustavi 2"s case.
