The Italian president has dismissed the parliament. Sergio Materala has already signed the relevant decision, by which the pre-election campaign for early parliamentary elections was launched.

According to the authorities, the reason for the dismissal of both Chambers is the existing political crisis.

Early elections will be held in Italy on March 4, 2018.
