Azerbaijan"s Milli-Majlis members condemned Giorgi Kvirikashvili"s initiative to establish a transport corridor between Georgia and Armenia.

The protest of Baku followed the statement made by George Kvirikashvili in the Parliament of Georgia where the Prime Minister of Georgia said that the special cases the from the Russian Federation tto Armenia could be transported via the occupied territories of Georgia.

"Even in the most difficult situation Azerbaijan has always stood beside Georgia and today it seems that somebody wants to break this union," said the Speaker of the Azerbaijani Parliament.

The Chairman of the Milli-Majlis noted that a detailed study of the issue will be assigned to the Azerbaijan-Georgia Parliamentary Commission.
