The accident occurred in Batumi in Lermontov Street, A 50-year-old man fell from the ninth floor. According to eyewitnesses, he died on the spot.

The relatives of the deceased say that the man lived in Russia and arrived in Georgia to celebrate the New Year.

According to neighbors, the man fell from the balcony accidentally.
