Nongovernmental organizations are talking about the need to conduct transparent and objective competition for the Board of Trustees of the Public Broadcaster.

Taking into consideration the developments around the broadcaster, the civil sector speaks about the necessity of staffing the board with independent members.

According to them, everything should be done, so that the broadcaster should be free of political influence.

"The questions exist in society with regard to Mr. Shatirishvili and not only Mr. Shatirishvili, of course I also have these questions and will therefore raise them, "said the Transparency International Georgia Program Manager.
