The Ministry of Education responds to the fact of violence in Chkhorotsku. The case concerns sexual assault of a 15-year-old teenager.

They condemn the incident in the Ministry of Education and hope that the offender will be held responsible before the law.

Several days ago, the abuser took the post of the deputy director of one of the public schools in Chkhorotsku. However, he resigned soon after the scandal.

The victim has taken the video footage to prove the abuse on the side of the teacher. The prosecutor"s office launched investigation yesterday after the information was broadcasted on Rustavi 2 TV.

"What I know is the information from media outlets. There was no violence at school. He was not a school teacher, as I know he was a football team coach, but in any case all violent facts should be investigated and no one should feel that violence will be unpunished, "said Lia Gigauri, Deputy Minister of Education and Science.
