The Tobacco Control Law will be launched in Georgia tomorrow. Smoking will be prohibited in closed public and workplaces, in some open areas and in public transport. Regulations will be promulgated on tobacco advertising and promotion.

The UN supports the prohibition of tobacco control law in Georgia and publishes the results of the research.

According to the study, Georgia is among the countries where the number of smoking man is one of the highest in the world. The number of smoker women has increased twice.
