Fire in Borjomi forest is localized.

Head of the Emergency Management Agency arrived in the village of Sakire. Giorgi Mgebrishvili visited the site and got acquainted with the situation.

According to him, the fires were spread over 2 hectares of area and 10 foci of fire were discovered on about 10 hectares, which excludes the natural reason of fire.

According to his information, the fire is localized, the soil is being processed.

On the spot the specialists control the situation by means of drones.

The fire that broke out in Borjomi Gorge lasted for almost 17 hours. 30 local and 70 help rescuers were working at the scene.
