Rustavi 2 case - Minister of Foreign Affairs had to clarify reasons for visiting European Court

Rustavi 2 case in Strasbourg - there was an argument between the members of the Parliamentary opposition and the Minister of Foreign Affairs.

Tinatin Bokuchava, secretary of the National Movement faction, addressed the Minister and asked to specify for what purpose he arrived in Strasbourg before the European Court would take a decision on Rustavi 2 case.

Vice Prime Minister of Georgia, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mikhail Janelidze said in response to the opponent that his visit to Strasbourg was not connected with Rustavi 2 case .

"I went to Strasbourg to confirm once again that Georgia remained devoted to the commitments before Strasbourg," the Minister said.

Tinatin Bokuchava replied that the Minister was lying from the Parliamentary tribune and actually admited that he went to Strasbourg with a specific assignment.
