The parliamentary majority has a week to come to an agreement on the draft law on drug policy.

Speaker of the Parliament Irakli Kobakhidze explains that discussions are underway in parliament to form a common position.

The ruling team is convinced that the process will finally be successful and it will be possible to develop a better drug policy.

"We have extended the deadline for working on the document for one month. I think we can manage the agreement with the document.
Our task is to adopt a document that will provide humane drug policy, "said the Chairman of the Parliament.
