Inspector-investigator Chabuka Lemonjava is expected to be formally charged today. He is still under surveillance in the Poti hospital.

Patrol police officer shot a 22-year-old Nazim Guzanov when he was trying to rob the fast payment mashine in the center of Poti.

The Interior Ministry says that the policeman shot the young man just after he attacked Lemonjava and allegedly wounded him with a hammer in the head.
