The date of the presidential elections remains unknown. the ruling team criticizes Giorgi Margvelashvili, for not naming the date of elections.

Tamar Chugoshvili, the First Deputy Chairperson of the Parliament of Georgia, states that international observers speak about Margvelashvili"s delay in regard to denoting the date.

"Naming the date means that certain regulations will be launched and the environment for the pre-election period will be created accordingly. I think he tried to delay in order to bring his presidential term to the end and I believe that he will appoint elections at the end of October, "Tamar Chugoshvili said.

Chairman of the Regional Policy and Self-Government Committee of the Parliament, Zaza Gabunia notes that the president can not establish what role he would have during the presidential elections.

"As it seems, there is some subjective factor for this delay," Gabunia said.

Eka Beselia, Chairman of the Legal Issues Committee of the Parliament has also commented on the issue. The MP points out that the date of a denomination is approaching.
