The murder of Smith family - accused talks about involvement of other persons in crime

The lawyer of the 19-year-old Shepherd, who is accused of murdering the Smiths family in Khada gorge, plans to talk with media today about new details of the case.

Aleksandre Kobaidze draws attention to the violations in the case.

According to him, Malkhaz Kobauri"s position is unchanged - he does not plead guilty and speaks about the involvement of other persons in the crime except for two foreigners.

Kobauri"s new lawyer met with him in the penitentiary establishment yesterday.

Malkhaz Kobauri was arrested by law enforcerson on July 9 or alleged murder in Khada gorge.

The investigation was initially launched under Article 116 § 2 of the Criminal Code, which implies negligence of life, but after receiving the initial data of the medical examination, the case was requalified into the premeditated murder.
