Education Minister has a new deputy. Mikheil Batiashvili presented Natia Zedgenidze to the position.

" She will be responsible for coordinating and controlling all directions of the administrative activities of the Ministry," the minister said.

After the staff change in the Ministry of Education, the Minister named new employees.

Giorgi Vashakidze has been appointed as the Director of the National Center for Educational Quality Enhancement, Berika Shukakidze has been appointed to the position of Director the National Center for Teacher Professional Development, Zviad Gabisonia – as the Director General of the Georgian National Science Foundation, Sopho Gorgodze has become the Director of the National Examination and Assessment Center.

"This is a team that we think will be quite competent in the direction of reforms," Mikheil Batiashvili said.
