"If Grigol Vashadze becomes president, civil war will start," Gedevan Popkhadze, one of the leaders of the parliamentary majority, said.

Popkhadze says that there are revanchist sentiments. According to him, "National Movement" plans to return Mikheil Saakashvili to Georgia and release Vano Merabishvili and Bacho Akhalaia from prison. The MP says that all this will be directed towards the liquidation of political opponents that are a problem for Saakashvili.
