Cultivation / Exports of cannabis - Irakli Kobakhidze and Giorgi Gakharia meet with Patriarch

The draft law on cultivation/export of cannabis is discussed at the Patriarchate of Georgia at this moment.

Georgian Parliamentary Chairperson Irakli Kobakhidze and Giorgi Gakaria are meeting the Patriarch.

The head of the legislative body and the Interior Minister have arrived in the Patriarchate several minutes ago.

The government started consultations with the Patriarchate today.

The clergy protests the draft law prepared by the government regarding the cultivation and export of cannabis. The discussion has temporary been suspended in the legislative body, but the draft has not been withdrawn.
