Before the second round of elections, it is already known that structural and staff changes are planned in the ruling team.
The chairman of the "Georgian Dream" party has confirmed the information about the amendments in his address. As Bidzina Ivanishvili said, there will be major changes.
Reportedly the changes will apply to the general and executive secretaries of the party. Kakha Kaladze and Irakli Kobakhidze will stay in the political council of the party but Georgian Dream will have new executive and general secretaries.
The change is likely to be related to the head of the regional office of the party and Dimitri Samkharadze will be dismissed.
The Vice-Premier of Georgia and the Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure Maia Tskitishvili does not confirm the staff and structural changes. According to her, the party chairperson will take decisions.
Presumably, the General Secretary of the party Kakha Kaladze will hold a briefing today on staff and structural changes.
