10 000 people living in occupied Abkhazia are still in isolation. The so-called border on Enguri is closed for a month already, due to unidentified reason.

After January 10 people are not allowed to cross the so-called border. Those, who want to travel from Gali to Zugididi, are not allowed to do so.

The population is on the verge of hunger, because the only source of income for them is pension, they receive across Enguri.

Citizens are allowed to cross the so-called border only in exceptional cases and often Border guards extort money to let them to move freely.
