European Georgia initiates several legislative proposals regarding the selection of the Supreme Court judges. According to Otar Kakhidze, one of the main principles is that all members of the Council should have the right to nominate the candidate who will be presented to the Parliament for consideration.

The parliamentary minority demands to set up a working group with a legal committee that will study each particular candidate.
