Mamuka Khazaradze knew about the dangers that the government created for his business. This is confirmed by the statement of TBC Bank founder on February 12 when he met with students of Caucasus University.
One day before the National Bank demanded removal of Mamuka Khazaradze and Badri Japaridze from "TBC", Khazaradze spoke openly about the possible dangers.He pointed out that the protection of business in Georgia is associated with a lot of problems, one of them, as he says, is"impudence of officials".
The founder of a large financial institution says that there people in the country that are struggling against progress. According to Khazaradze, therefore, he is afraid of internal threats.
"One thing is to create a business and the second is to protect this business. Unfortunately, we are still far from classical protection of business. There are problems, the failure of the court system, the impudence of the officials. Historically, there is always a group of people that contradicts progress or struggles with progress. I am not afraid of external threats, but I"m more afraid of the internal threats as a Georgian, "Mamuka Khazaradze said.
The National Bank demanded that TBC Bank founders Mamuka Khazaradze and Badri Japaridze are deprived of signatory authority as members of the Supervisory Board.
