The former teammates criticized Beselia for her statement about Irakli Kobakhidze. According to Mamuka Mdinaradze when Beselia demands apology, everyone should remember that United National Movement voted of her draft law.

""We can talk about apologize after we explain to society that UNM supported the anti-constitutional law. I don"t know it is a coincidence or common interests, but when we speak about apology, we should underline it as well,"- Mamuka Mdinaradze said.

Gia Volski, another leader of the Parliamentary majority claims that UNM"s support for this decision should be envisaged. According to him, despite the fact that Eka Beselia"s views differ from views of the majority , Eka Beselia remains a fighter politician .
