Majority of citizens vote for the party because of the leader and not because of the election program


Most of the citizens of Georgia make a choice in favour of the political leader and not the party.
In a survey, conducted by "Open Society Georgia Foundation" , 46 % of citizens say that when voting, the party leader is more important for them than the election program.

The party"s election program is important for 39%.
In the same survey, 66% of interviewed respondents say that they never read any political party election program. Only 33% said they are informed about the electoral plan of the parties in the pre-election period.
