Irakli Kobakhidze, who participated in the 140th Assembly of the International Parliamentary Union (IPU) in Doha, met with the President of the Union- Gabriela Cuevas Barrón.

Gabriela Kueva Baron. The sides discussed the issue of holding a Global Conference of Young Parliamentarians in Georgia in 2020. The Chairman of the Parliament of Georgia hopes that the President of the Union will make a final decision on holding the Summit in Georgia.

The Chairman of the Parliament of Georgia also discussed the issue of deepening bilateral cooperation in the frames of the visit. The focus was on sovereignty and territorial integrity.
