"Construction of hydro power plants is important for the country" - Deputy Minister of Economy does not speak about the confrontation in Pankisi

The Deputy Minister of Economy has no information regarding the construction of HPP in the Pankisi Gorge, which was followed by controversy yesterday.

Nino Enukidze says that she does not have information about details on the implementation of the projector confrontation in the gorge .She does not know that a resignation of the Economy Minister was requested yesterday, after the confrontation.

Enukidze speaks only about the increased demand for electricity and the construction of hydro power plants.

"I do not have information about it, but I would like to emphasize that the construction of hydroelectric power stations is important for our country," Enukidze said.
