The President of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe will begin official meetings in the morning. Liliane Maury Pasquier will hold the first meeting in the parliament. The meetings are scheduled with the Chairman of the Parliament, later with the Prime Minister and the President of the country.
Within the framework of the visit, the President of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe tohether with the delegation will visit the IDP settlement in Tserovi and get acquainted with the situation at the border.
The ceremonial session  dedicated to the 20th anniversary of Georgia"s accession to the Council of Europe will be opened on April 30 in the Parliament of Georgia.

"I am glad that I am in Georgia for the 20th anniversary of joining the European Council. This is my first visit to Georgia. It is a great honor for me to address the Parliament of Georgia, where I will talk about the possibility of deepening cooperation with the Parliamentary Assembly and the Council of Europe, " Liliane Maury Pasquier said.
