The PACE President continues her official visit. Liliane Maury Pasquier will meet with the President and Prime Minister today. She will also take part in a ceremonial event dedicated to the 20th anniversary of Georgia"s accession to the Council of Europe, which will be held in Parliament. Liliane Maury Pasquier will address the event participants. The Prime Minister, President and Parliament Speaker will also address the guests .
"A ceremonial opening will be held in the Parliament where the President of the Assembly will address the Parliament, in the same format the Chairman of the Parliament, the Prime Minister and the President will deliver their speeches.
We have a very active cooperation with the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe, their support and cooperation is important for strengthening in the direction of democracy, "- said Sophie Katsarava , the chair of Foreign Relations Committee .
