Levan Ioseliani, a former Majoritarian candidate of Mtatsminda, is not going to support any candidate in the second round of elections. The decision was made after ten days of meetings with voters. According to Levan Ioseliani, the support of the pro-government candidate has never been on his agenda.
As for Shalva Shavgulidze, regardless of his respect, he does not support him. According to Ioseliani, it is unacceptable for him and his voters to join the "National Movement" in political struggle.
"I want to say that despite my personal respect for Mr. Shavgulidze, it is unacceptable for our voters and hence we should not support him in the second round of elections only because he has linked his political future to the team whose support is not acceptable for our voters. Therefore, we share our voter"s will. Lado Kakhadze`s support was never on our agenda, "said Ioseliani.
