Eka Beselia, an independent lawmaker from the Parliament, says that the parliamentary majority is playing with fire over the proportional electoral system.

According to Beselia, there is a political crisis in the ruling team.

"It is like playing with fire from the ruling party. More than 30 MPs are opposing its leader, Bidzina Ivanishvili. This already means a party crisis. It is very important to transition to a proportional electoral system. There is such a big threat that the Government will not fulfill its promise that completely different political parties and leaders united. The transition to a proportional electoral system, which was a public promise, must be fulfilled”, - said Beselia.
