In order to prevent the outbreak of the novel coronavirus, the so-called government of Russian-occupied Abkhazia has imposed a quarantine on Enguri and Psou so-called crossing points. Only individuals with the so-called Abkhazian passport can enter the territory.

Those who left the occupied territory today told the Kurieri that a special vehicle had been mobilized near the Enguri Bridge, which houses a medical station. In this vehicle people get screened for coronavirus symptoms.
